How is scanning digital barcodes different from scanning printed barcodes?
Verifying and grading a digital barcode ensures that it has no technical errors and leads to the right web page.
While scanning the physically printed barcode is still necessary to check for print-specific issues (such as low contrast or ink bleed), identifying barcode issues early in the process is faster and cheaper with barcode verification software.
It also helps prevent issues that are not print-specific, for example, using the wrong barcode or not accounting for the quiet zone in design. Such issues can be identified in TVT Barcode and documented, establishing the full audit trail from a validated software.
How is TVT Barcode different from other barcode checking solutions?
TVT Barcode provides an easy-to-read barcode analysis for pre-print document review, showing whether or not each barcode is scannable.
